The predecessor of today's PERMON company was the Marie-Anna steelworks for the refining of crude iron, which later served as a rolling mill. It was established in 1824 by prince Karel Egon II von Fürstenberg in Roztoky, which is situated in the valley of the Berounka River in the middle of the Křivoklát forest. This tradition continued until the period after the Second World War, which once and forever gave the surrounding areas the hallmark of an industrial center.
Changes in heavy industry, mining and engineering led to the relocation of the production hall and management divisions of the company in 1956 to the site at the upper end of Roztoky, where our manufacturing site is still located today. At that time, the production of pneumatic tools began for professional use in industrial plants, companies, mines, quarries, construction, well drilling and other areas.
Faithful to the tradition, for more than 60 years we have focused on
the production of chopping, picking, demolition and drilling hammers used for demolition work, drilling in mines and rock breaking in quarries. We are experts in the production of submersible drilling hammers for quarrying, well digging and reconnaissance probes.
PERMON products, which we produce ourselves, are first-class products that easily stand up to top-quality international competition. One of our main assets is the individual approach to our customers while adapting our development processes to fit their requirements. Experimenting with our tools on materials originally destined for disposal and constantly improving the physical properties of heavily used parts keeps us innovative and one step ahead technologically. Design, packaging and final expedition are no less important to us. With a robust construction and a simple yet elegant design, our products remain the best choice for both professionals and home improvement.
